The Penn-Griffin School for the Arts learning community is committed to being a premiere 6-12 school for the arts by working together. We are constantly challenging our potential, nurturing responsibility, celebrating diversity, and modeling lifelong learning.
Unique features about the school
We have a small attendance zone for our middle school with the remainder of our middle school students applying to come to PGSA. Magnet middle students are selected through a lottery process. Middle school students complete all of their core courses while also being exposed to a wide variety of arts electives. High School students apply and go through an audition process to gain admission. If accepted, high school students work towards a high school diploma while focusing on an arts major. Many of our graduates go on to post secondary and career experiences in the arts.
