Teachers Lounge Makeover- A National Movement
The power of community partnership was on full display at T. Wingate Andrews High School as a talented team of designers and industry professionals, The Besties, transformed the teacher lounge into a space that reflects the value and appreciation our educators deserve. Their generosity of time, creativity, and craftsmanship created more than just a beautiful room; it created an environment where teachers can recharge, collaborate, and feel celebrated.
This project was made possible through the leadership of HPxD, whose vision and coordination brought the makeover to life. High Point Schools Partnership was proud to help support and cultivate the connection that made this collaboration possible, demonstrating what can happen when education and industry come together with a shared purpose.
Our teachers pour into students every day, and investing in spaces that pour back into them is a meaningful way to honor that commitment. It is especially significant that this transformation took place in a school located in the City of Design and Furnishings, where the creativity, innovation, and talent that define High Point were used to directly impact those shaping our future.
This lounge stands as a reminder that when a community rallies around its educators, the result is not only inspiring—it is lasting.
