A Simple Gesture
A Simple Gesture (ASG) is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that collects food from generous donors. Some are neighbors, businesses and faith communities that fill green reusable grocery bags that are then collected by volunteers and distributed to our food pantry partners. Others are food industry businesses that participate in our Food Recovery Program. Service Learning hours are available for high school students.

It is ADS goal to provide comprehensive prevention services that meet the community’s needs. Our services utilize best practice strategies and evidence-based curricula researched and proven to enhance protective factors and reduce risk factors among youth. Services are designed to address all forms of drug use, enhance family relationships and foster community or social norms that support a drug-free healthful lifestyles.
ADS prevention serves 10 counties which includes Alamance, Caswell, Anson, Guilford, Harnett, Hoke, Lee, Montgomery, Moore and Richmond.

Our goal is to teach young athletes respect for themselves, their peers and their community by instilling a code of ethics built on honesty, responsibility and team work.
Together, our players, families and volunteers work diligently to create a safe and disciplined environment so every child can reach their full potential – on and off the field.
It’s ALL About the “C”
CHPYA is open to youth from the ages of 4 -14 that live in the Central part of High Point, NC and surrounding cities. We serve as a feeder program for Ferndale Middle School and High Point Central High School. Currently we provide tutoring/mentoring, community volunteer opportunities, football, cheer/dance and track programs. We will add on additional sports as our program grows.
